Founded in 2005 by Louis Boshoff, The Design Studio was born from a vision to bring architecture and interior design together, creating spaces where form, function and individuality exist in harmony.
With over 26 years of experience, Louis brings a wealth of expertise in architecture, interior design and project management. His distinguished career, marked by international lecturing and multiple design awards, continues to shape the studio's commitment to creative excellence.
Based in Potchefstroom, South Africa, The Design Studio has established a reputation for delivering exceptional architectural projects both locally and internationally. Our diverse portfolio spans luxury residences, five-star hotels, commercial developments, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, sports complexes and industrial projects.
Our international footprint extends to the Netherlands, Namibia, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Eswatini, reflecting our ability to deliver thoughtful design across diverse environments and cultures.
Over the years, we have had the privilege of working with esteemed clients, including the South African Government, the Royal Bafokeng Nation, the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, North-West University and the South African Football Association (SAFA).
